High Quality WAV+MP3 Download of Noon Shift’s second EP, “Worth Its Cost in Time”
Worth Its Cost in Time is Noon Shift’s second offering in the EP department, released in February of 2021.
The album was recorded between The Brain Studios in Sydney (Drums/Mastering) and Nick’s house (everything else), where the boys continued to refine their craft of home recording and mixing. The EP features an unreleased track in the shape of ‘Expectations’, containing the line for which the EP was named after.
“I wrote the songs for this EP during a period of about six months after leaving high school. We had just released our first EP ‘Fuse’ and we were looking to fill our live sets with a bunch of upbeat, singable originals. The songs are mostly about the experiences I had during that time: forming new relationships, losing old ones as well as enrolling in and quitting uni within a matter of a few months.
The title of the EP “Worth Its Cost in Time” is kind of a hopeful reminder that all the shit that you go through (or choose to put yourself through) is somewhat necessary and will one day be worth it, whether it be achieving career goals or just trying to find a place where you’re surrounded by people you love. I’m still only 20 though so take this all with a grain of salt, but that’s pretty much what this EP’s all about.”
